But thanks to Thornton's uneven pacing and inability to settle on a visual style, the story, and splendor, of the book is lost somewhere along the way. Of the young (and also pretty) cast, Damon and especially Black fare the best. Based on the first book of Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy.
