A gang moll hides out with a group of mundane professors, trying to avoid her loathsome boyfriend. Cooper has his hands full when he falls for this damsel in distress and must fight the gangsters to keep her. Stanwyck takes a personal liking to naive Cooper and resolves to teach him more than just slang.
