This serial is actually pretty cool. Besides the fact that it is usually set during the day, you would swear that it was an episode of the animated series (except that it's black and white and it's live action!). The only problem is that the story stretched a bit and a few of the episodes were a bit mediocre because only so much could happen in the one episode. The suits aren't very fearsome either, but who cared back then? If a guy was crazy enough to go out in that kind of costume, wouldn't you be afraid of him? Also, this serial isn't half as campy as the 1966 series. It's dark and gritty, and sometimes, it's actually a bit scary....
