A cast of quirky comedy all-stars, including Garafalo, Stiller and Macy, help deflate the superhero genre by playing a team of bush league crimefighters. The superhero washouts use their dubious powers to save Champion City from party monster villain Casanova Frankenstein (Rush), who has kidnapped real superhero Captain Amazing (Kinnear). Great concept and dialogue are stretched a bit thin over the long running time. Based on the Dark Horse comic book.
