Fred (Prinze) is out to debunk the apparent haunting of theme-park Spooky Island, accompanied by Daphne (Gellar), Velma (Cardellini), Shaggy (Lillard), and Scooby, of course (who's completely CGI, which made the film's budget very expensive).
