Trailers
An integral part of the
movie advertising, trailers show scenes of coming attractions and are shown
before the feature movie. Trailers are often called "previews" or "coming attractions" and are usually 2 to 3 minutes in length. Trailers are becoming a more valuable item with movie memorabilia collectors. There are many trailers available in the MovieGoods inventory.
Standups
Standups are printed on
cardboard, and come in various sizes. They are used as advertising displays
in movie theater lobbies and are widely used today.
Film Cells
Film cells are pre-framed movie collectibles that include a strip of 35mm film from an actual print of that film, along with a full-color postcard or photograph from the movie. Film cells are limited-edition items and each one comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Animation Cels
Animation Cels are a sheet
of clear acetate or nitrate, which is hand-painted, then placed over a background
and photographed. The outline of the character is applied to the front of the
cel, and the colors are hand-painted onto the back of the cel. There are various
other forms of animation cels including sericels.
